Markus W. Kreisel

For 15 years, he has developed Windows software and released various general computer user and software development tools. Markus is co-owner of his newest company, Sisulizer Germany, and the sole creator of Kaboom. Markus is also a contributing author of the new blog, The Localization Tool.
Renate Reinartz
Renate Reinartz has dedicated 15 years to the software industry. Renate has managed projects for software development, technical writing, e-learning authoring, and software localization from english to german. Web content localization and search engine optimization (seo) are her other specialities. She is also co-owner of Sisulizer Germany and contributing author to the new blog, The Localization Tool.
Sisulizer
Sisulizer Germany has a sister company, Sisulizer Finland. A close friend of Renate and Markus, Jaakko (Jaska) Salmenius, runs Sisulizer Finland. This sister company develops the flagship product, Sisulizer. Sisulizer Germany tests, markets, and distributes this popular localization tool and several other development products. Before creating Sisulizer Germany, Renate and Markus spearheaded two other companies: K&R Software and OINK.
K&R Software
From 1995 to mid-2006, the first company, K&R Software, specialized in software development tools and custom development in Visual Basic for such companies as IBM and Deutsche Telekom. K&R Software produced Shih Tao, an Asian board game. In 1995, the company began to distribute popular software development tools in Germany:
- ForeHelp, an online help authoring tool by ForeFront,
- E-learning tools, such as Viewletbuilder by Qarbon and Demo Builder by Tanida,
- Merak, a mail server by IceWarp,
- And Multilizer, a software localization tool.
OINK
The second company, OINK founded in 1998, a web agency, specialized in server-side development. Under the leadership of Markus and Renate, OINK began providing services to many of the company’s current customers: larger agricultural companies such as Syngenta Crop, Germany & Netherlands, Big Dutchman, and others. OINK also created iOnly, a server scripting environment, similar to ASP or PHP. After building the company to 15 employees, Markus and Renate sold their interests and moved on to open Sisulizer Germany.
